The Finlandia Society of Calgary promotes and maintains Finnish culture in Calgary. The club's regular activities include a Finnish language study and a Little Finns programs, choir, literary and dance groups, movie nights and observance of traditional Finnish holidays. The club also organizes cultural evenings and supports the works of Finnish composers, artists, performers and sports teams. |

Seuran sännölliseen toimintaan kuuluvat kieli-, kirjallisuus- ja tanssiryhmät, kuoro, Pikku Finnit lasten kerho,elokuvaillat ja perinteisten suomalaisten juhlapyhien viettäminen. Klubi järjestää myös kulttuuritapahtumia ja tukee suomalaisia esiintyjiä, säveltäjiä, taiteilijoita ja urheilijoita. |

On September 20th there will be an all day trip to Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park in Southern Alberta. The bus leaves at 8:30AM SHARP (no exceptions) from NAPA Auto Parts 7th St & 16th Ave NW. Boarding by 8:15AM. Lunch and supper will be supplied. Reservations through Raija 403-242-8151. First Come First Served up to 50 people. Return around 10:30PM. |
